Gilbert Office of Economic Development has launched the National Business Survey to secure valuable input and feedback on the priorities of Gilbert’s business community. The survey is conducted every two years to gauge the economic health and business needs in the Town and is designed to provide comprehensive feedback across six core indicators including: community amenities, business climate, employment opportunities and workforce support, workforce readiness, business growth and governance.
“We are guided by our community and use tools like the National Business Survey to ensure we are providing the services that benefit the greatest good in Gilbert,” said Director, Economic Development Dan Henderson. “Past surveys have shared insights that we incorporated into our strategic planning and outreach efforts currently in place, and helped guide us in the development of The CATALYST business resource center, launching this month with the Gilbert Chamber Foundation.”
The National Business Survey (The NBS) was developed by National Research Center at Polco. The survey captures opinions of Gilbert’s overall economy. The results will show Gilbert’s strengths, areas of improvement, and what matters most to businesses. The Town will also be able to see how its performance compares to other communities across the country.
Gilbert is distributing the survey to randomly selected businesses via mailed invitations over the next few weeks. Businesses that receive an invitation are asked to follow the enclosed instructions and complete the survey which can be completed in under 15 minutes. Additionally, businesses that were not randomly selected are also invited to participate, and can do so at the following link: https://polco.us/gilbert24ob, or click to the survey directly from the Office of Economic Development website, www.gilbertedi.com.
The survey will close in mid-October.
